What we won't import
Saying no is part of the job.
Some products need permits, carry high duty or simply cost less here. We'll tell you before you spend a cent.
- Copies of other brandsFakes are seized at the border. We only make your own designs.
- Food, supplements, cosmetics and medicineThese need South African health approvals before they can be sold.
- Weapons, knives, lasers and dronesRestricted or controlled. Not something we handle.
- Second-hand goodsUsed goods need import permits and rarely make sense.
- Small runs of plain clothingClothing carries some of the highest duty in South Africa. Local printers often win.
- Anything cheaper to buy hereIf a local supplier beats the landed price, we'll point you to them.

What's the minimum order?
It depends on the product and the factory. We tell you each factory's minimum up front, and whether a smaller run is worth it.
Do I need an import licence?
No. We handle the import, freight, customs and duty, and deliver to you at the rand price we quoted.
Can you just find me a supplier?
We work end to end: factory, samples, production, checks and delivery. That's how we can stand behind the price and the quality.
How long does it take?
Usually two to four weeks to shortlist and sample, then production and shipping. Most orders arrive eight to fourteen weeks after you approve the sample, depending on the product and whether it flies or sails.
Do I pay before I see anything?
No. The first check is free. You pay a deposit only after you approve a sample and the landed quote.
